Surgical Lights

Surgical Lights

The NUVO light's trademark is its combination of shadow reduction packaged in a compact, extremely east-to-position light head.  This, coupled with the total control of all the light functions from within the sterile filed, and the fact that it incorporates a state-of-the-art cooling system to deliver color-correct, ultra-cool light, leads to the acknowledgement of the NUVO Surgical Light as the product of choice for today's surgical suite.

With 13 unique patents to its credit, the light offers a number of benefits to users which contribute greatly to improving surgical precision and procedural efficiency.

Single light head

This configuration offers all the performance of a major surgical light yet is packaged and priced perfectly for use in Outpatient Settings, Minor Procedure Rooms, C-Section, E.R. as well as LDRP.  Mounting two single lights either side of the OR table is becoming a very popular set-up in a General OR when combining Flat Screen LCD Monitors with the lights.  The smooth, easy-to-clean lines complement the powerful performance that is delivered from its compact 22 inch reflector system.  With every pivoting joint free to rotate continuously plus all the controls being placed within the sterile field (as well as on a wall control), using the light could not be easier.

Double light head

The Dual Light Head is clearly the favorite for most surgical procedures. Mounted on 43-inch and 36-inch arms, the dual light heads rotate freely about the surgical field with total stability, providing unlimited positioning. Engineered construction prevents any conflict between the lights. For procedures ranging from minimally invasive through trauma to cardiovascular the dual light delivers the intensity and pattern size to meet all your needs.  When designing heart and orthopedic rooms you might also consider pairing a single light head with a dual light head mounted at the head and foot of the table.

Triple light head

Triple light head

The Triple Light Head is commonly found in Heart rooms where two light heads are positioned over the chest with the third light head being used to illuminate the leg area when stripping out veins.  The triple is also a favorite in trauma rooms should there be a need to work on multiple sites at the same time.  With 137,000 Lux output per light head and a healthy 10 inch pattern, this light is equipped to handle the most complex case.  Another popular alternative to the triple light is to pair a single light head with a dual light head.
