SAN JOSE, Calif. — August 6, 2008 — NDS Surgical Imaging (“NDSsi”) of San Jose, California, announced the acquisition of Dome Imaging Systems (“Dome”), the medical business unit of Planar Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: PLNR). Dome manufactures innovative medical display products for diagnostic imaging and patient care applications. Dome’s customers include global Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) OEM suppliers and leading medical Information Technology (IT) resellers to healthcare providers.

CMI continues its role unchanged as a value-added reseller for Dome and NDSsi products.
